The Open European Para Equestrian Championship is a major FEI Para Equestrian Event and the first ever Continental Equestrian Championship to be staged in Norway. It is hosted by the Norwegian Equestrian Federation (NRYF) and will take place at the Epona Ryttersentre, Kristinasand from 19 to 23 August 2009.
This will be the 4th FEI PE Event to be held at Epona. At previous Events riders and officials have commented very favourably on Epona's close proximity to the hotel, easy access and nice relaxed atmosphere.
