Participation requirements
Competitors are invited by the Organising Committee through their National Equestrian Federation.
REQUIREMENT OF NATION
As this is an OPEN event, National Equestrian Federations outside of Europe may enter competitors. Per nation, a total of 3 riders will be allowed in each Grade, with no more than 6 riders in total representing one nation.
REQUIREMENT OF RIDER
In order to compete in the event riders must be:
• Classified to establish the appropriate profile and grade
• A registered FEI Para-Equestrian
• Nominated by their National Equestrian Federation
REQUIREMENT OF HORSES
The FEI Para-Equestrian and Veterinary Dept. have agreed the following dispensation for Para-Equestrian events until further notice:
The European Open Championship will be an own horse competition and all participating horses must meet the following requirements:
• FEI passport required
• standard charge applicable
• FEI registration required but free of charge
Shared horses are permitted in certain circumstances as outlined in the FEI Rules for Para-Equestrian Dressage Events which can be found on the Para Equestrian page of the FEI website www.fei.org
